Bennett Trenchless is pleased to announce that Mary Neher has received the Trent Ralston Award for Young Trenchless Achievement. The annual award recognizes a young individual who has demonstrated excxellence in the early stages of his/her career and who has made a valuable contribution to the trenchless technology industry. Ms. Neher was chosen based on the strength of her numerous technical publications, her experience in trenchless design, and her participation as volunteer instructor for NASTT’s HDD Good Practices Course. Ms. Neher received her award at the No Dig 2016 Conference in Grapevine, Texas at the Gala Awards Dinner on March 22. Congratulations, Mary!

Matthew Wallin Elected to NASTT Board of Directors
BTE is pleased to announce that Matthew Wallin was elected to the North American Society for Trenchless Technology’s (NASTT) Board of Directors. The NASTT Board of Directors directs the affairs of the Society, on behalf of NASTT and its membership. The Board is comprised of a minimum of sixteen and maximum of nineteen directors, who are elected by the Society’s members. Only elected Directors may serve as Officers of the Society and are appointed by the Board of Directors. Matthew attended his first board meeting in Atlanta before the Underground Construction Technology International Conference and Exhibition. Congratulations, Matt!

David Bennett Now Licensed in Nebraska
Dr. Bennett is now licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer in Nebraska. Bennett Trenchless Engineers is also now an Authorized Organization in Nebraska (Auth. No. CA3383). BTE is teaming with Carollo Engineers and the City of Omaha on a trenchless crossing of the BNSF railyard. Bennett Trenchless Engineers staff members currently hold Professional Engineer licenses in California, Washington, Texas, Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi, and now Nebraska. BTE provides expert professional trenchless design services nationwide.
